I am a lucky girl!!
I have a mother that lets me wear her clothes and a grandmother who buys me new clothes!!

This morning i left home wearing mom's top to find my grandmother and my 2 little cousins to go for shopping !!



We bought clothes and shoes for the girls and my lovely grandma gifted me this swimming suit and this 100% cotton dress!!!! I am so so so so happy!!!

I remember one day my mother told me i don't smoke and i usually don't spend money often for coffee why not send money to this organisation in order to help them not for one day but for years ! cause action aid doesn't ''give the fish to people but learn them how to fish''
and i said to her yes do it


Do you know that every 6 seconds a child dies cause doesn't has food ??
when i saw that in t.v i felt soooo guilty(now i feel more guilty cause i am very lucky cause i have and food and everything and the possibility to write about my clothes!but it will be very not me if i stopped doing this cause it's something i am not ashamed and i like it , it's like what i do with friends when i am talking ''what are you going to wear to the party'? etc... but i can't stop feeling guilty when some people don't even have clothes.....)

speaking about the work of action aid and i said my self this woman is really good.

This monday i met her in person , she was here in corfu and she had a meeting point to corfu palace where she wanted to meet the child sponsors (after she was going to give a speech to people in corfu with goverment people and me and my mom didn't wanted to be there we choosed to be only in the private meeting where they weren't no cameras no goverment people no one just the simple child sponsors )
it was a close meeting , where she told us that she wanted to be more simple with us in a circle being more close and learn each other so we don't feel that we are alone and someone else is doing the same we do ,but you can figure how hotels are when people talk the croud on the other side and the speaking people in front but she was very gentle she came closer and gave us herself for 2 hours.
I am very happy that i met her.
Before going into the room that she speaked we took and a pic with her she was so gentle i don't post the pic cause it's a private moment of my mom and she doesn't like telling i am a sponsor child she prefers the actions than the words and big showing of everything!that's my mom! and i really appreciate it cause i don't like too when people talk about them selfs and their lifes but i wanted to talk to you about this -maybe if you think of it you would like to be a sponsor child too!

What i admired is that she told us about women who work from 5 o clock in the morning untill late at night the problems that they are having every day and she was so real and simple even when some people told that the money we give doesn't go where they are supposed to go (if you ask me this was very offending and i didn't like it) but ...... she asnswered so polite so gentle so clever you could hear her for hours and not being bored...
She told us that she was living in paris because her husband is french when she decided to action (her first steps where being a sponsor child)- cause she was staying at home with her 3 children(now she has 4) but she wanted to do something
And that for me is very important.
I really admire this woman and i am so happy that i met her.

Μια γυναίκα με όραμα

Υπάρχουν περιπτώσεις που οι ίδιοι οι άνθρωποι και οι πράξεις τους αρκούν και τα λόγια περιττεύουν. Μια από αυτές τις περιπτώσεις είναι η κυρία Αλεξάνδρα Μητσοτάκη: Γεννημένη στην Αθήνα, με σπουδές πάνω στη Γερμανική γλώσσα, την πολιτική και το Αναπτυξιακό Δίκαιο, μια γυναίκα δυναμική και ανεξάρτητη με πάθος για ό,τι κάνει, διακατέχεται πάντα από μια ιδιαίτερη ευαισθησία για το πρόβλημα της φτώχειας στον αναπτυσσόμενο κόσμο. Έτσι, ιδρύει το 1998 το Ελληνικό τμήμα της Action Aid του οποίου είναι Πρόεδρος ενώ από το 2003 είναι και μέλος του Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου της Action Aid International.

Στην απόφασή της να αλλάξει επαγγελματική πορεία και να αφοσιωθεί στο μεγαλόψυχο έργο της Action Aid καταλυτικό ρόλο έπαιξαν τα πολλά ταξίδια που έκανε σε διάφορες χώρες και η επαφή της με διαφορετικούς λαούς και πολιτισμούς, όπως ο λαός της Ινδίας, όπου βρέθηκε αντιμέτωπη με τα ερωτηματικά στα μάτια των παιδιών. Θέλοντας λοιπόν να δώσει μια απάντηση σ’ αυτά τα παιδιά, μοιράστηκε μαζί με τους Έλληνες και τις Ελληνίδες συμπατριώτες της τη διάθεση να δραστηριοποιηθεί. Στόχος της δεν είναι να πείσει αυτόν που αδιαφορεί και ισχυρίζεται ότι δεν τον αγγίζει το γεγονός ότι χιλιάδες παιδιά πεθαίνουν καθημερινά, αλλά να δώσει μια ευκαιρία σε αυτούς που δεν αδιαφορούν και θέλουν να κάνουν κάτι για αυτό. Μας αναφέρει ότι αντλεί ενέργεια και διάθεση για παραπάνω προσφορά από την επαφή της με τις γυναίκες και τα παιδιά που βρίσκονται σε ανάγκη.

Ο κάθε ένας μπορεί να δώσει ένα χέρι βοήθειας, όχι μόνο μέσω της οικονομικής προσφοράς αλλά και μέσω των λόγων ή του ελεύθερου χρόνου που διαθέτει για να ασχοληθεί. Σήμερα η Action Aid αριθμεί 30.000 Έλληνες υποστηρικτές σε όλη την Ελλάδα, και ο καθένας από αυτούς μπορεί - και πολλοί το έχουν ήδη κάνει - να πείσει άλλον έναν να υποστηρίξει την ActionAid.

Η επαφή της κας Μητσοτάκη με χιλιάδες ανθρώπους σε όλη την Ελλάδα τα τελευταία 9 χρόνια, της δίδαξε ότι αυτοί που προσφέρουν παίρνουν πολύ μεγάλη χαρά απ’ αυτή τη προσφορά και είναι εμφανής η συγκίνηση, ο ενθουσιασμός και η χαρά τους, όταν δηλώνουν ότι έχουν γίνει ανάδοχοι γονείς ενός παιδιού μέσα από την Αction Aid ιδιαίτερα σε μια εποχή που υπάρχει ρατσισμός και ξενοφοβία και η παγκοσμιοποίηση αντιμετωπίζεται ως κάτι προβληματικό.

Όσο για τους λόγους που οδηγούν σε τόσο μεγάλα ποσοστά φτώχειας στις υποανάπτυκτες χώρες η κα Μητσοτάκη πιστεύει ότι η απάντηση δεν είναι τόσο εύκολη: στους λόγους συγκαταλέγονται η ιστορία, η γεωγραφία, οι σχέσεις μεταξύ των δικών μας ανεπτυγμένων χωρών, η εκμετάλλευση που επιδέχθηκαν αυτές οι χώρες και η κακή διακυβέρνηση από τις δικές τους κυβερνήσεις. Αλλά η αρχή βρίσκεται αλλού: Ο αποικισμός και αργότερα ο Ψυχρός Πόλεμος προέβαλλαν κυρίως τα συμφέροντα των ισχυρών λαών χωρίς να προσφέρουν ουσιαστική βοήθεια στα «μικρά κράτη». Στις περιπτώσεις που αυτή προσφέρονταν, δεν στόχευε στην καταπολέμηση της φτώχειας, αλλά στο να διατηρεί την πίστη των υποβοηθούμενων κυβερνήσεων, έτσι ώστε να τις εκμεταλλεύονται και να ασκούν επιρροή προκειμένου να ικανοποιούνται τα εμπορικά τους συμφέροντα. Γι’ αυτό και η ίδια θεωρεί ότι εμείς σήμερα, όχι τόσο πολύ η Ελλάδα, αλλά κυρίως η αναπτυγμένη Δύση, στην οποία όμως ανήκουμε ως μέλος της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης, έχουμε μερίδιο ευθύνης για την κατάσταση, στην οποία έχουν περιέλθει αυτές οι χώρες. Σημαντικό πάντως δεν είναι τόσο οι λόγοι αλλά το γεγονός ότι πλέον υπάρχει τρόπος επίλυσης αυτής της απαράδεκτης κατάστασης. Η ίδια πιστεύει ότι «’Eχουμε υποχρέωση απέναντι στα παιδιά μας να τους αφήσουμε ένα κόσμο λιγότερο διχασμένο, λιγότερο άδικο και συνεπώς λιγότερο επικίνδυνο».

Η κ. Μητσοτάκη αναφέρει ότι η ΑΑ ήρθε στην Ελλάδα επειδή η ίδια τους χτύπησε την πόρτα και τους ανακοίνωσε ότι η ελληνική κοινωνία είναι ώριμη και έτοιμη να ακούσει το μήνυμά τους και να τους στηρίξει. Χαρακτηριστικό είναι ότι οι περισσότεροι Έλληνες υποστηρικτές της ΑΑ είναι της μεσαίας και ως επί το πλείστον της χαμηλής κοινωνικής τάξης.

Αξίζει να σημειωθεί, ότι η Βόρεια Ελλάδα - την οποία έχει επισκεφθεί επανειλημμένως με χαρά - και η Κρήτη είναι ιδιαίτερα ευαισθητοποιημένες περιοχές στα προγράμματα της Action Aid.

Αναφορικά με τα προγράμματα της ΑΑ η κ. Μητσοτάκη περιγράφει ότι «η Αναδοχή Παιδιού είναι ένα πρόγραμμα που φέρνει κοντά ένα παιδί με έναν άνθρωπο, έναν πολίτη στην Ελλάδα και ένα παιδί στον τρίτο κόσμο. Αν και βρίσκεται μακριά αυτό το παιδί η αξία της αναδοχής είναι πολύ περισσότερη από την αξία των χρημάτων (22 ευρώ το μήνα) που προσφέρει ο ανάδοχος».

Παράλληλα με την Αναδοχή Παιδιού η ActionAid έχει ξεκινήσει τα «Προγράμματα στην Πρώτη Γραμμή» που έχουν ως θέμα το «νερό», την «ασφάλεια τροφής», τη «γυναίκα», την «υγεία», την «παιδική εργασία», το «AIDS». Πρόκειται για προγράμματα που απευθύνονται όχι τόσο σε ιδιώτες, αλλά σε σωματεία, συλλόγους κλπ που επιθυμούν να προσφέρουν κάποιο χρηματικό ποσό σε κάποιο από τα 6 αυτά υποπρογράμματα.

Η κα Μητσοτάκη αναφέρει ότι οι γυναίκες είναι τα πρώτα θύματα της φτώχειας, της αδικίας, της εκμετάλλευσης και της ανισότητας. Το ποσοστό των γυναικών που είναι φτωχές στον κόσμο είναι πολύ μεγαλύτερο από το ποσοστό των αντρών.

Η ίδια επισημαίνει ότι υπάρχουν χώρες όπου τα δικαιώματα των γυναικών δεν έχουν κατοχυρωθεί αλλά και χώρες όπου τα ήδη κατοχυρωμένα δικαιώματα δεν τα σέβεται κανένας, άρα δεν είναι πραγματικά. Το θέμα απασχολεί ιδιαίτερα την ΑΑ και πρωταρχικός στόχος της είναι να βοηθήσει τις γυναίκες να καταλάβουν και να αλλάξουν το ρόλο τους στην κοινωνία.

Σήμερα, η κυρία Μητσοτάκη είναι παντρεμένη με το δικηγόρο Pascal Gourdain με τον οποίο έχει αποκτήσει τέσσερα παιδιά, τρία αγόρια και ένα κορίτσι. Ρωτώντας την για τη δουλειά που κάνει με τα δικά της παιδιά, αποκαλύπτει ότι έχει την αίσθηση ότι δεν τα καταφέρνει τόσο καλά. Η ίδια πιστεύει ότι είναι πολύ άδικο για τις γυναίκες να θεωρούν ότι μπορούν και πρέπει να είναι επιτυχημένες σε όλους τους τομείς ταυτόχρονα, δηλαδή και μητέρες και επαγγελματίες και σύζυγοι και όποιον άλλο ρόλο καλούνται να παίξουν. Ενδεχομένως μπορούν, αλλά πληρώνουν ένα τίμημα που η καρδιά τους μόνο το ξέρει. Αλλά δεν έχει σημασία, γιατί ο καθένας επιλέγει τις προτεραιότητές του.

Holidays here i come !!!

in few hours i ''ll be near the sea for few days and i have to finish my suitcase

last night went for a drink with a friend who came holidays with her friends in our island and i met 2 kind and sweet girls and the 4 of us had nice time , my mojito though wasn't nice ....so sad some places don't have nice quality and if someone doesn't now to put the right quantity the result is a disaster !!

Happy weekend

Saturday night with friends eating and laughing

it was so windy yesterday night that in the garden we took blankets in our legs because it was so cold ...we were laughing all the night cause we were like grandma's in front of the fireplace in the middle of the summer !!!
